What we collect

When you create an admin account, we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. When you vote for a candidate, we store the candidate's voting ID, the amount paid, and the number of votes recorded against it. Providing your name and mobile number when voting is optional — you can also tick "Vote anonymously" — and we only store them if you choose to provide them. We never collect or store your card, bank account, or other payment credentials.

Payments

Voting payments are processed by two secure gateways depending on where you're voting from: RMA Bhutan's BFS (Bank Financial Switch) gateway for domestic (Nu.) payments, and Stripe for international (AUD) payments — including cards and digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay where your browser or device supports them. Your card, account, or banking details are entered directly on RMA's or Stripe's own platform and are never seen, transmitted through, or stored by Tshogyen.com. We only receive confirmation of a successful payment and its amount, which we convert into votes for the candidate you chose.

Cookies & sessions

We use a session cookie to keep administrators logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use your data

Data is used solely to operate the voting platform: tallying votes per candidate, generating reports for show organizers, and reconciling payouts. We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond what is required to process payments through RMA and Stripe.
